Noble Youth is the joint effort of Megan Quinn and Ned Shatzer, who met by coincidence on a train ride from Baltimore to New York in 2005. The two discovered they shared a similar aesthetic and desire to constantly create, whether the medium is fashion, art, or music.

Ned had been altering his vintage finds to suit his liking for years while traveling around Europe as a model and vagabond musician. On his travels his artistic eye was always studying the beautiful details of the clothes and architecture he encountered.

Megan attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and earned a degree in sculpture before her move to New York to pursue fashion design. Her proclivity for three-dimensional design led to diverse jobs such as video game character modeling and architectural renderings, but ultimately, she realized her passion lie in creating clothing, always inspired by form. 

Noble Youth Fall ‘08 is the fourth collection for the self-taught design duo, who work out of their Brooklyn-based studio. Each collection has grown in its refinement and attention to detail, as the couple also hones their collaborative process.
